MISHAWAKA - Diana Lynn Betzer, 59, residing in Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 6:40 PM Saturday, March 3, 2012, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born on March 4, 1952, in St. Joseph County, to the late Albert and Geraldine (Sweet) Coleman. On August 7, 1971, in South Bend, IN, she married Hubert A. Betzer Sr., who survives.
Along with her loving husband, Hubert, Diana is survived by her son, Hubert A. Betzer Jr. of South Bend; her daughter, DeLores F. Betzer of Mishawaka; one granddaughter, Miriah L. Campbell of Mishawaka; and sister, Betty (Richard) Baxter of Mishawaka, and their children, Ted Baxter and Rosemary Baxter. Diana also leaves special friends, Larry and Tammy Sandefur, and their children, Tina "Sassy", Shylene and Amber.
Two sisters, Penny Ramsy and Ruth Witz, and one brother, Edward Coleman, all preceded Diana in death. Diana worked for Majestic Security for eight years. She enjoyed going to the Farmers Market, loved Elvis, and enjoyed knitting. Diana enjoyed doing for others.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until time of services on Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Diana may be made to Palmer Funeral Homes.
