Fredricka "Freya" Hall, May 19, 1914 - February 2, 2006
Freya passed away peacefully at age 91, surrounded by loving family and friends. Freya will be remembered by all as a loving, caring and empathetic mother, grandmother and friend. She always had a smile and a hug and a positive attitude for all she met. Freya was a strong and independent woman until the very end - just as she would have wanted it. She had a love for gardening, books, and sharing time with friends. She was also an avid health and exercise enthusiast, walking around the block almost every day until her last days. She was an active and long-time member of the Mount Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church. Freya will be greatly missed by loving sons, Eric and Dennis Hall; her devoted daughter, Ruth "Sammy" Kuhl; adoring grandson, Chad Harris; admiring son-in-law, Carl Kuhl; and many, many dear and loyal friends. Freya was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hall, and husband of 58 years, Arbert "Arbie" Hall. All friends and family are invited to attend Freya's memorial service at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 19, at the Mount Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church at 55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek, CA.
