AKRON, OHIO – Funeral services for A. P. Stone, 68, who died Saturday in the Akron General Hospital, will be conducted in the chapel of Hooper Huddleston Funeral Home tomorrow at 2:00 by Bro. Malcolm Hill and the Rev, Michael Prowse, with burial afterwards in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Stone, a native of Putnam County, was the son of the late Rev. Joseph Winfield and Scynthia Bray Stone. He was a Cookeville barber for 10 years before moving to Barberton, Ohio in 1943. Mr. Stone was a retired employee of the Seiberling Tire and Rubber Company, and a member of its 25 year club. He attended the Akron Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pansie Bartlett Stone, of Barberton, Ohio, and 1 sister, Mrs. Ann Presley of Monterey.
