Marion V. Ballou
So. Royalton—Marion V. Ballou, 92, also of Cocoa, Fla., died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Wuestoff Hospice House in Rockledge, Fla., after a brief illness.
She was born April 18, 1919 in Wells River, the daughter of William Addison and Ella Mae (Judd) Bowley.
In 1936, she married Gerald W. Ballou of South Royalton. They lived in Windsor for a short time, before returning to
South Royalton in 1943.
Following his retirement, they enjoyed camping and spending winters in Florida. She also enjoyed flower gardening.
Survivors include a son, Robert Ballou and his wife, Joan, of Cocoa, Fla.; two daughters, Marilyn Clark of Ruffs Dale,
Penna., and Linda Hill and her husband, Charles of Herculaneum, Mo.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mae Foligino of New Britain, Conn.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Ballou, in 1994; a son, Kenneth Ballou, in 1943; and several brothers and sisters.
There are no public calling hours or funeral services. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Riverview Cemetery in South Royalton.

Royalton, Vt. 05068.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Boardway & Cilley Funeral Home in Chelsea.
