HILLARD Kathryn 6/12/48 - 3/2/12 Kate was the daughter of Victor Sr. and Mary Hillard. She grew up in Luna Pier and Riga, MI. She graduated from Western Michigan University, with post-graduate studies in special education at the University of Toledo, and photography at Owens Community College. Kate taught third grade and special education. She later worked in advertising and layout for Foster Publications, and as a clerk at Sanger Library. She also operated a home-based business called Thru My Eyes Photography. Kate had many interests, including photography, music, writing, quilting, and advocating for rights for handicapped people.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty; and brother, Barry. She is survived by her brothers, Victor Jr. (Janice), and David (Patricia); and several nieces and nephews.
