Daniel Lee Kay, 60, of Pana died Friday, July 14, 2006 at 12:20 p.m. in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 5, 1946 in Pana, the son of James R. "Pete" & Caroline O. Eller Kay.
Danny was a graduate of Pana High School and had served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam. He had lived in Pana his entire life except for when he was in the Army. He was a 30-year member of Operative Plasterers & Cement Masons Local #18 Area 152.
Danny married Jackie J. Owens in Pana, IL.
He is survived by his wife: Jackie Kay, Pana, IL; his mother: Caroline Kay, Pana, IL; children: Crystal Michelle Kay, Pana, IL and Scott Allen Kay, Coalton, IL; 6 grandchildren: Breanna Nicole Kay, Gabrielle Jo Kay, Jessica Danielle Vaughn, Michael Robbinson, Megan Battles, Morgan Battles; brothers: Larry Kay, Tower Hill, IL and Jarry Kay, Taylorville, IL and by his sister: Carolyn Grear, Maryville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father.
