s/o Hugh Fraser (1808-1885) and Mary MacKenzie (1814-1888).
George and Catherine were married on the 23 Sep 1869 at Toney River, Pictou Co, NS, George was a mariner, they had three known children.
1) Margaret Anne (1871-1939), m: 1900 to Robert John Reed (1869-1947).
2) William McKenzie (1877-1883)
3) May Catherine (1882-??), m: Hubbard Glinton Hood (1872-1909)
I'm a 1st Cousin twice removed of George William Fraser. My source for the info that I provided is from a McKenzie second cousin in Nova Scotia, and the 1871 Census, with the Fraser family (clan), I've enclosed two links, On page 21, line 19 finds George W, a sailor and married - - On page 22, line 4 is Catherine A and married.
