On Saturday, the 16th December 1961, Wesley James Fuller, a life-long resident of Arkona and Warwick, passed away in St. Thomas, aged 91 years.

Mr. Fuller was born on the 2nd line south, of Warwick Township in 1868, the youngest of a family of thirteen. He graduated from Sarnia Model School and then at the age of nineteen, came to Arkona where he and his brother, John, operated a general store until his retirement in 1948. Until a few years ago, he was active in community affairs and helped to form the Rock Glen Power Co., which supplied Arkona with electrical power for a good many years.

His wife, Margaret Holmes, predeceased him three years ago.

He is survived by a son, George of Watford, a granddaughter, Lorna, Mrs. McClure of Moncton, New Brunswick, two grandsons, John of Ottawa and Roger of Watford, a daughter Joyce, Mrs. Ted Roberts of Arkona and a sister Mrs. Frank Lambe (Millie) of Arkona.

The funeral was held from the family home on Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in the Arkona Cemetery.
