Funeral services for Evelyn Goldman Dobson, 89, of Clarksville, will be at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Chapman Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Henryville, the former owner of Clarksville Cab Company, and a member of Peniel Revival Center in Louisville.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Goldman and his wife, Rose, Georgetown, Roger Goldman and his wife, Angie, Bloomington, Allen Goldman and his wife, Sharon, Jeffersonville and Kent Goldman, Clarksville; five daughters, Sue Ann Dubois and her husband, Don, Milltown, Barbara Hall and her husband, Bill, New Albany, Patricia Sekanic, Clarksville, Jonnie Miller, Clarksville and Gloria Bennethum and her husband, Steve, Denver; a stepson, Andy "Butch" Dobson, Louisville; a stepdaughter, Bobbie Jo Dobson, New Albany; a sister, Marie Stewart, Charlestown; 26 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
