NAMPA — Funeral services for Mrs. Myra E. Howard, 90, of Nampa Route 2, who died Monday morning at her home following an extended illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with the Rev. E. J. Glover, pastor of the Boise Valley Church of the Brethren, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Karcher Road.
Mrs. Howard was born Dec. 24, 1877, at Urbana, Mo., and joined the Methodist Church at the age of 15 years. She was united in marriage to Noah T. Howard on April 1, 1900. Mr. and Mrs. Howard came to Idaho from Colorado in 1936 and settled in the Bowmont community near Nampa. They moved to Nampa in 1942, and had made their home here since. She was a member of the Boise Valley Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her husband, Noah T. Howard of Nampa; one son, J. Vaughn Howard of Nampa; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Schlatter of Sterling, Colo., Mrs. Pearl Harris of Arvada, Colo., and Mrs. Norine Johnson of Topeka, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gladys Howard, in infancy.
