Allen S. Couvillion, 71, of Pineville died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Bordelon Couvillion of Pineville; three sons, Lester Couvillion of Alexandria, Allen Couvillion of Merritt Island, Fla., and Michael Couvillion of Gretna; three daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Cole of Tioga, Mrs. Addie Vellotta of Pineville and Mrs. Sandra Waggoner of Olla; a brother, Wilford Couvillion of Dallas, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Teresa Griffin of Bossier City; and 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. J. Donald Damiens officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bors., Pineville.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel.
