Lyda was born February 6, 1939 in Stockton. She will always be admired for her hard work ethic, from running her own business to taking pride in her gardening. More importantly, however, she will be remembered for all the care and support she gave to her community for so many years.
Lyda is survived by her daughters; Patricia Vermillion and husband Jim, and Vickie Williams and husband Craig; sisters Nancy Cully, Donna Burns, and Judy Oberly; brothers Oscar Clark, Martin Clark, and Robert Clark; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Rogers, and sister, Minnie May Langsford. Donations may be made to the Harrisonville Lions Club; 701 Highland Dr., Harrisonville, MO 64701.
