Eileen Lydia McIntosh, 83, passed away January 13, 2009, at Risen Son. Eileen was born in St. Louis, Mo., on October 2, 1925, to the late Russell and Myrtle Thompson. Eileen married George McIntosh in 1939, and were together until his passing in 2001. She was a member of Glendale Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. Eileen retired from Super Value Foods where she worked for twenty years as a baker. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Deanna Epperson; son, George McIntosh Jr.; grandson, Dale Kirkpatrick; and sisters, Violet Lynch and Mildred Kormann. Eileen is survived by son, Dennis and wife Kathie of Rathdrum, Idaho; daughters, Donna Rae Rinker and husband William of Sunbury, Pa., Dixie Lee Coburn of Council Bluffs; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Kormann of Chamois, Mo.; brother, Buddy Thompson and wife Marlene of Largo, Fla.; son-in-law, Bob Epperson and wife Marilyn of Blair, Neb.; brother-in-laws, Reuben Kormann and Don Lynch; nieces and nephews. Visitation with family Thursday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring. Funeral Services Friday 1:00 p.m. also at funeral home. Pastor Bob Wood, Glendale Presbyterian Church, officiant. Interment Crescent Iowa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Glendale Presbyterian Church.
