Sheralee Joyce Lambert, 77, of Springdale, passed away March 2, 2012, in Fayetteville, Ark.
She was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Friedrick Alfred Horstman and Ruby Fern Nealy Horstman.

She grew up in Nebraska, Iowa, and Rogers, attended Rogers High School and graduated from Downey High School in Downey, Calif., in 1952. She also earned a degree from the University of Arkansas in 1989. She managed the Daisy Manufacturing Credit Union for many years. She married William Parker Burns on Sept. 22, 1952, and they had three children, Raymond Michael Burns, William Thomas Burns and Jerri Lynn Burns Skaggs. She was married to Bill Lambert in 1980 until his death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Horstman.

Sherry had a beautiful singing voice which she used for God's kingdom. She was a choir member and director at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene and First Presbyterian Church in Rogers and she was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and the Church Choir in Rogers.

She is survived by her children, Raymond Burns and wife Robin of Rogers; Tommy Burns of Rogers and Jerri Lynn Burns Skaggs and husband John of Bentonville; her stepdaughter Darla Lambert of St. Louis, Mo.; her sister, Jeanette Armes of Springfield, Mo.; two nephews, Terry and Rick Armes; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday; March 5, 2012, at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers with Rev. Carness Vaughn, Rev. Dawn Spragg and Rev. Les Oliver officiating.
Interment will follow in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery, Rogers.
