John was born in Braintree, Massachusetts to John and Sarah [Hayden] Wild. His parents were married on 6/1/1689 and their will was probated on November 27th., 1732. On June 11th., 1714 when he was 22 years of age, he was joined in marriage to Abigail (Bass) Wild [b. 10/03/1697], who was a fourth generation Mayflower Descendant in the line of John and Priscilla Alden. John died when he was 84 1/2 years of age.
