Mr. Dorris Lonzo House, Jr., age 74, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. House was born February 21, 1938, in Texarkana, Arkansas, and had lived all of his life in Texarkana.

He was a Baptist, had worked for the Iron Workers Union 591 of Shreveport, North American Tank Car Company, and was a self-employed scrap iron dealer.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Alan House and a brother, Arthur House.

Survivors include his wife, Ada Jane McDowell House of Texarkana, Arkansas, two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary McCray of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Cynthia and Larry Cottrill of Fullerton, California, two sons, Brian House and Robert House of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter-in-law, Sonja House, one brother and two sisters-in-law, Cecil and Jane House and Karen House of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Troy Blalock of Texarkana, Arkansas, and seven grandchildren, Noah House, Elijah House, Hailie House, Deidre McAdams, Kelly McAdams, Brandy Richards, and Jared McCray.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Monday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Ken Guthrie officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery.
