LEROY ABEL,87, Donnellson, died at 1:30 A.M. today, March 15, 1991, at the Good Samaritan Home in Quincy, Illinois.
Mr. Abel was born February 8, 1904, in Donnellson. He farmed in the Donnellson area for many years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the George Washington Masonic Lodge, both of Donnellson.
On October 19, 1929, at St. Charles, Missouri, he married Clara Knabe, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Aletha Rhodes, Pittsfield, Illinois; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brother and two sisters. His parents were David and Katherine Graulich Abel.
Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson. The Rev. Steve McDuff will officiate. Burial will be in Evangelical Cemetery.
Friend may call at the Hofbauer Funeral Home after 10 A.M. Saturday until time for the services.
A Memorial is being established with the St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
