Mr. Gordon Glynn Driggers, age 63, died Monday, February 6th, 2012, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. The Statesboro native lived in Bulloch County most of his life until moving to Macon, Ga., two years ago. He was a lifelong farmer, working primarily with DeFair Farms and some with Brannen Farms. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Driggers and Myrtle Henley Driggers; a sister, Ella Jane Kirkland; and his first wife, Betty Jean Hurst Driggers. He attended Grace Point Church while he lived in Macon and was a member of the Leefield Baptist Church.

Surviving are his three daughters and one son, Kristie Reynolds (Barry) of Macon, Ga., Amanda Driggers (Brandon Darley) of Macon, Ga., Tracey Kendrick of Milledgeville and Brad Kendrick of Milledgeville, Ga.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Winton Wells and Betty and David Heath, all of Statesboro; a brother and sister-in-law, John "Boots" and Jessie Ruth Driggers of Statesboro; and eight grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The graveside funeral service and burial will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Harville Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chris Dorrity officiating, assisted by the Rev. Storman Glass. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
