Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Adams of Pierre; three sons, Larry Adams of Pierre, Doug Adams of Moorcroft, Wyo., and Danny Adams of Pierre; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mabel Hayek of Fargo, N.D.
