He was born in Economy on June, 2, 1924, the son of Harvey and Bessie (Mowery) Fisher. He was a life long resident of Wayne County until moving to Auburn five years ago.
Charles was a retired employee of IMI.
He is survived by two children, Janet Lewis (Roger) of Auburn and Scott Fisher of Cleveland, Ohio; two grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, in 2007; a son, Brad Fisher; five brother and six sisters.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, in Culberston Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Rev. Herschel Murray will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday.
