Mrs. Edrie W. Shetron, 111 West Louther Street, (Carlisle), widow of Paul E. Shetron, died yesterday morning at her home. She was 54 years old.
She was born on Jan. 4, 1915, in Loysville, a daughter of the late Harry C. P. and Laura B. Gray Wilson. She was employed as a nurse for Dr. William B. Turner for many years and previously as a nurse at Carlisle Hospital.
She was graduated from Landisburg High School in 1931 and the Good Samaritan Hospital Nursing School Lebanon in 1934. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose and the Alumni Association of the Good Samaritan Hospital.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Janie Hostetter, Harrisburg; two sisters, Miss Dorothy Wilson and Mrs. Paul Lyons, both of Loysville; three brothers, Harry and Joe Wilson, both of Loysville, and Gerald Wilson, Landisburg.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street. The Rev. Russell Kerns, pastor of Tressler Memorial Lutheran Church, Loysville, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminister Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the funeral home.
