Jasper Roe Thorn, 83, of Springville, died October 10, 1996, in Springville of causes incident to age. He was born September 6, 1913, in Springville to Jasper Hall and Elsie Huntington Thorn. He married Lydia Lena Thalman on September 6, 1935, in the Logan LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on October 1, 1994.
He is survived by his children: Roger R. (Rita) Thorn; Maris Thorn (David Grotegut); Charles D. (Joanne) Thorn; Ray K. (Becky) Thorn; 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one brother, Berneal H. (Eleanor) Thorn. He was preceded in death by a son, Christian T. Thorn and a grandson, Thomas R. Thorn.
Burial was October 14, 1996.
