Scottish Sovereign. Born with the name of Causantín Mac Cináeda he was exactly a king of the Picts at the dawn of the future Scotland. After the death of his uncle Donald I of the Mc Alpin dynasty (862) he was crowned as monarch of the territories now known as eastern and northern Scotland. During his reign Constantine had to suffer a massive invasion by the Vikings who devastated the length and breadth of those territories (866) The cause of his death is controversial. According to some annals of Ulster, after being defeated in the Battle of Dollar, he died fighting in a duel against an invading army warrior.
