ACWORTH, Ga. - Terri L. Webber-Simmons, 45, died unexpectedly December 3, 2003. She is the sister of Gwen Webber-McLeod of Auburn.

She was born November 16, 1958, at Fort Dix, N. J. She was a graduate of Carthage Central High School, Carthage and Syracuse University in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in speech and language pathology. She completed a masters degree in education from Georgia State in 1990.

She resided in Acworth, Ga. with her loving family. She was employed for 16 years by the Marietta City Public School System as a speech and language pathologist. She spent the majority of her employment at Hickory Hills Elementary School.

She is survived by her husband Gerald J. Simmons and her children Kyle and Kiah; her mother, the Hon. Barbara N. Webber, Jefferson County legislator of Black River, NY.; sister Cheryl Webber-Eakin of Holland, NY; sisters Gwendolyn Webber-McLeod of Auburn and Kimberly Webber-Janke of Marietta, Ga. She was predeceased by her fathr, Charles E. Webber, LTC. (ret.) U. S. Army.
