William Albert "Abe" Hinkle, 79, passed away at his home, Thursday, March 1, 2012.
He was born born April 21, 1932, in Martin Co., KY., to the late Jim and Virgie Horn Hinkle.
Abe was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, Stephen James Hinkle. his brothers, Hurley, Clifford, Raymond, Lonnie, and Luther Hinkle, three sisters, Birdie Smith, Vivian Bowen and Aileen Hinkle.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Hobbs Hinkle of Inez, KY., his daughter, Linda (Raymond) Sumpter, Inez, and his son, James (Rhonda) Hinkle of Georgetown, KY., and one granddaughter, Ashley (Andrew) Jones, of Louisville, KY., and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Jones, of Louisville, KY., four sisters, Betty Hinkle, Inez, Irma Maynard, Inez, Geneva Carroll, Inez, and Emma (Ed) Carroll, Hillard, OH., one brother, Howard (Dick) Hinkle, Inez.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home Inez Chapel, with Garrett Mills and Rev. David Robirds officiating. Burial will follow at the Hinkle Cemetery, in Inez, KY.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
