Leigh Sims Turner, 33, of Powder Springs passed away April 09, 2007. Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Burial was at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Leigh was a lifelong Cobb County resident and member of the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. She glowed with love and compassion all her days growing up in Smyrna. She graduated from Campbell High School in 1991. Leigh's endearing personality served her well in the medical administration field. She was an adoring wife and devoted mother. Her courageous battle with cancer was fought with a grace and steadfastness admired by many. Her love and devotion to her husband, children, family, and her God were evident until her last breath.

She is survived by her husband Jason; daughter Lauren; son Owen; mother Betty Sims; father Norman Sims; brother Jay Sims and nephew Noah; sister and brother-in-law Kaye and Troy Walden and nieces Reese and Brooke; mother and father-in-law Ann Turner and Matt McCoy; father and mother-in-law Jackie and Jill Turner; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Alyson and Dan Stewart; and sister-in-law Taylor Turner.

Donations can be made to the Friends of the Turner Family at any Georgian Bank. West Cobb Funeral Home, 2480 Macland Rd. Marietta, GA 30064 was in charge of arrangements.
