In 1850 Catharine and her daughter, Mary Jane Kintz, were living with Catherine's parents, Jacob and Lydia Altemose, in Chestnuthill Twp., Monroe County. Henry was not listed with the family and must have been away from home at the time the census was taken. In 1870 the family, including Henry, was living in Ross Twp. Catherine was still living in Monroe Co. in 1889.
