My mom, who was raised in rural Armstrong, said she knew Herman & Eva Moore. They lived just down the road from her.

Notes from a phone call with Mom tonight:
Eva was the daughter of Estill (mem 100144187)& Edna (mem 100144208) Brooks. She was a school teacher - didn't drive - Herman was farmer and had to drive her back and forth. After Herman died in 1980, she lived alone on her farm for several years. Mom would go grocery shopping for her once a week until she was no longer able to live by herself.
