The daughter of Squire West of Hampton NY, and Abigail Abell, of West Haven VT. She lived most of her married life in Peru VT on her husband's family farm. When fire destroyed the home in Peru about 1900, they moved to Manchester Depot, where they bought another farm. She and her husband enjoyed the Manchester community after so many years in a smaller one. But I imagine Peru was always home.
