The marriage of Miss Clara Fechner, daughter of Frederick Fechner to Karl Matheis, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Matheis, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of the Rev. F. C. Baumann. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs. George Schillinger, sister of the bride, and Miss Anna Dangle, of Hornell, N. Y., a cousin of the groom.
The bride wore a gown of silver grey canton crepe with hat to correspond and corsage of sweet peas and tea roses.
A wedding dinner was served at the home of the groom following the ceremony.
The bride and groom will enjoy a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone national park and upon their return will reside with the groom's parents on Seminary avenue.
The groom is employed in Chicago for the Chicago & Northwestern railroad. The bride has been employed as a stenographer for the Burlington in Chicago.
