Charles Bramley Van Buren was born in Neodesha, Kansas January 24, 1895, the son of Edward Van Buren and Emma Oliver. His father was born in Oswego, New York, and his mother was born in Fulton County, Illinois.

At the time of his death, he and his wife Gladys resided at 1746 Harvard NW, Canton, Ohio. He was a WW II Veteran and an employee of the Canton Refining Company.

His cause of death was listed as a Coronary Occlusion.
