Scottish Monarch. Son of Malcolm III Canmore and his first queen, Ingibiorg of Orkney. He married Ethelreda of Northumberland in 1090, by whom he had one son, William, Earl of Moray. Duncan deposed his uncle, Donald III, but reigned for only 6 months before he was killed on his uncle's orders at the battle of Mondoynes. He was 35.
