Mrs. Beasley, 72, died March 12, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Monticello on Aug. 26, 1929, to Araminta Miller Beasley and Troy Lee Beasley.

She was a retired seamstress with Kellwood Corporation. She was a member of Wanilla Baptist Church. She was president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, District Three.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, William Clyde Beasley.

Survivors are her brother and sister-in-law, Franklin Dewitt Beasley and Shirley Beasley of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
