Newton, Robert O.
DODGEVILLE — Mr. Robert O.
Newton, age 72, of Route 3, Spring
Green, died on Tuesday, September 22,
1981, in the Mineral Point Care Center
after a long illness. Mr. Newton was
born in Dodgeville Township on July 3,
1909. He was a longtime area farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.
Sylvan (Catherine) Chapman of
Dubuque, Iowa, and Mrs. Glenn
(Sharon) Herbst of Richland Center;
three sons, Donald of Belleville,
William of Jefferson, and Wayne of
Kenosha; a sister, Mrs. Reuben
(Gladys) Richardson of Spring Green;
12 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.'
Funeral services will be
held on Friday, September 25, at 2
P.M. in the LULLOFF-PETERSON
FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
Reverend Howard Lindsay will
officiate. Burial will be in East Side
Cemetery, Dodgeville. Friends may
call on Thursday from 6-9 P.M. at the
funeral home.
