Henry DeHart, who was well-known in this section, died suddenly at his home near Mt. Aetna, aged 68 years. Mr. DeHart retired in his customary state of health and in the morning his daughter found him lifeless on the floor of his bedroom, death evidently having resulted from a stroke, suffered during the night. His wife died 10 years ago. Fourteen children, seven sons and seven daughters, survive. They are: Samuel, of near town; Hiram, of town; Charles, Sinking Spring; Frank, of near Lebanon; Henry and George, Reading; Lewis, at home; Martha, wife of Lewis Miller, Philadelphia; Katie, wife of William Boeshore, Fredericksburg; Emma, wife of Nathan Hoffman, of near Womelsdorf; Lillie, wife of Ntahn Bulles; Ada, wife of Earl Yohn; Mrs. Carrie Sherman, Reading; Maggie, at home. There are 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the house. Services in St. John's Church, Mt. Aetna, by Rev. A. R. Bachman, of Schaefferstown, paster of the Reformed congregation. Interment on the adjoining cemetery. Undertaker Isaac N. Bahney is making the arrangements. [Reading Eagle, May 14, 1925, Page 2]
