Warsaw, IN - Mrs. Debbie Jean Roberts, age 48, wife of Dale Roberts, of Warsaw, Indiana, formerly of Wilkes County, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Roberts was born October 28, 1960 in Wilkes County to Shirley Vannoy.

Surviving are her husband of the home; two sons, Timothy Cockerham of Warsaw, Indiana, David Cockerham of Winston Salem; her mother, Shirley Vannoy of North Wilkesboro; two step children, Elizabeth Roberts of Warsaw, Indiana, Dale S. Roberts of Winston Salem; two brothers, John Vannoy Jr., Christopher Vannoy both of North Wilkesboro; and two grandchildren, Marissa Roberts, Page Roberts both of Yadkinville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 o'clock Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Miller Funeral Chapel with the Pastor Mark Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock Wednesday night. Flowers will be accepted.
