He was born January 21, 1898 near Bethel, OK. He retired as a railroad engineer with the Frisco Rail Road after 43 years. He belonged to the Brotherhood of Locomotive, Engine Men & Firemen. He was a World War I Army Veteran and attended The Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by 2 sons, H. Russell Connelly of OKC & Doyle Connelly of Moore; 1 daughter, Alma Kohler of Michigan; 1 brother, Ted Connelly of OKC; 6 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday at The Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Sons.
