Mary Leona Roberts, 92, of Needville, Texas, died June 8, 2006. She was born July 20, 1913, in Needville, Texas to the late Howard and Louisa Blecha Bushnell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ Church in Needville.
Survivors include: her daughter, Merle Born and husband, Pete of Needville; son, Glenn W. Roberts and wife, Ann of Needville; 6 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Wallace Roberts; 5 sisters, Ruth Kuhn, Clara Oliver, Pearlie Teykl, Iona Krobot, and Gertrude Schmidt; and 3 brothers, Napolean "Babe" Bushnell, Clarence "Jake" Bushnell, and Leon "Lynn" Bushnell,
The family will receive family and friends Sunday, June 11, 2006, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Shiner Cemetery Pavilion. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 11, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. at Shiner Cemetery, Bro. John Orr of Needville Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Shiner Cemetery.
