Muskogee~Deputy US Marshal brought in today from Tahlequah District, Goback Christie, a prominent full blood Cherokee and member of the Kee-too-wah society. He was taken to the land office and after some hesitancy and a good deal of persuasion made application for himself and family for enrollement. Christie stood the officers off with a Winchester last spring and refused to enroll when the Dawes commissioner was camping and doing field work among the full bloods.
