Cobb was born Aug. 14, 1939, in San Diego, and attended schools in Calistoga, Calif. On June 27, 1971, in Reno, she married Clifton W. Cobb, who survives. Eight years ago she moved to Oregon and lived in Selma for four years. She worked for Erickson Air Crane for seven years.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, crafts and sewing, especially quilts, and baseball. She also enjoyed fast cars and collecting various things, including Beanie Babies, Mickey Mouse items and cookie jars. She especially enjoyed raising her children.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Russell R. Mang of Dobbins, Calif., and Swaney Cobb of Sacramento, Calif.; five daughters, Mary Jane Mang of Camptonville, Calif., "ReeRee" Owens of Roseburg, Annette Hill and Natasha Richards, both of North Platte, Neb., and Julie Lewis of Roseburg; four stepdaughters, Kathy Cobb of Yuba City, Calif., Kandace Cobb of Sacramento, Calif., Katrina Cobb of Woodland, Calif., and Krisy Cobb of the San Francisco Bay Area; her father, Daniel Burrus of Salem; five brothers, James "Swaney" Burrus of Mission Viejo, Calif., Daniel Burrus Jr. of Salem, Bill Ransbottom of Southern California, Kenny Ransbottom of Rio Del, Calif., and Carl Ransbottom of Fortuna, Calif.; two sisters, Ava Schauer of Fairfield, Calif., and Anne Barker of Missouri; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
