Gladys Bennett worked hard her entire life, starting at the age of 16 in the Daleville Button Factory, and lastly at the University of Connecticut. After retirement, she enjoyed her family of 5 children, and her hobby of raising German Shepherd dogs.
Gladys and Rene were married in Jan of 1925.
