Maggie Turner Joiner, 96, of Route 2, died Saturday, January 15, 1994, at Syl-View Nursing Center in Sylvania, Georgia. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with the Reverends Tommy Pulliam and Dan Zellner officiating. Burial will be in Millen Cemetery.
Ms. Joiner, a native of Jenkins County, had retired as a seamstress and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Mrs. Jimmy Rabitsch, Evans, and Mr. Troy Joiner, Millen. Pallbearers will be Lewis Gay, Emory Gay, Billy Turner, Vaughn Turner, Clyde Turner and Charlie Lanier. Friends may call at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. Monday. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
