Puppeteer and actor.He worked for The Jim Henson Company for more than 20 years. He was the performer behind Scooter, Beaker, Sweetums, Janice, Junior Gorg, Statler and many other characters from the popular television programs "The Muppet Show," "Sesame Street" and "Fraggle Rock." He also directed several episodes and made principal puppeteer appearances in "The Muppet Movie," "The Great Muppet Caper," "The Muppets Take Manhattan," "Jim Henson’s Muppet Vision 3-D," "Labyrinth" and "Dark Crystal." He also acted minor parts in the movies "Trading Places" and "Oxford Blues."
