Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Bettina (Del Bonis) Fusco.
She was a beautician and manager of the prestigious Michael Strelby Salon on Providence's East Side for over 40 years, before retiring in 1993.
Anne was a member of St. Mary's Church in Cranston. She was also a member of the St. Mary's Feast Society Ladies Auxiliary for almost 40 years and honored as an Outstanding Benefactor in 1992. She was a member of the Beechwood Senior Center in North Kingstown.
When she was younger, Anne enjoyed playing golf and tennis. She loved to travel, especially by freighter. She was Santa's helper for her family for over 50 years and loved the family gathering together on Christmas Eve. She also loved to celebrate St. Mary's Feast with her family, both in loving memory of 'Mama' and 'Papa', her parents.
She is survived by her sisters, Theresa (Fusco) Di Salvia and Mary (Fusco) Mansollilo, both of Cranston; her brother, John Fusco of Cranston; her sisters-in-law, Betty Fusco of Cranston and Mary Fusco of North Providence; 19 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; and 13 great-great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank, Arthur and Phillip Fusco and Josephine (Fusco) Ruggieri.
Auntie Anne will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
