Andrew Leve Robinson was born in November of 1840 to James Samuel W. Robinson who was born in Ireland and his wife Elizabeth Troxwell. Andrew was born in Saltville, VA. His first marriage was to Martha Jane Hicks. His second marriage was to Margaret. I don't have her last name. Andrew was in the Civil War. He was in Co F, 48th Virginia Infantry. He enrolled in to active service on June 15, 1861 and mustered into service on July 11, 1861 at the age of 20 years old. On February 8, 1865, Andrew was admitted to the Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. He was shot in the head at the Battle of Hatchers Run, south of Richmond, VA. Andrew mustered out on May 11, 1865 at Jonesboro, TN. Andrew lived until 1924.

I do have Andrew L. Robinson's Pension Records - 11 pages as well as his military records.

I had a special Confederate Memorial Marker Dedication Ceremony. November 3, 2012. So glad I could get a confederate marker for my confederate.
