John A. Novesta, 75, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at Regency Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 25, 1936, in Windsor Ontario, Canada, to William and Margaret (Hamel) Novesta. A Tool and Die Maker by trade, John worked for GM Powertrain for 29 years. He was a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church where he volunteered as an usher. John enjoyed bowling with his friends at Juggs where he was a league member, as well as playing pool and boating. He was a member of the UAW Local 14 Retirees.

John is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Stone; sons, Robert Novesta and John Novesta Jr.; sisters, Mary Ann (Roy) Barry and Helen Ford; grandchildren, Katelyn Stone, Kelcie Stone, Darian Garibaldo, and Skyler Novesta; nephew, Jim Ford, and loving companion, Dawn Naujock. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret, and by an infant brother.
