Virginia "Ginnie" M. Boecker, 89, of Point Place, peacefully entered into Heaven on Monday, February 27, 2012. She was born on July 14, 1922, to the late Ervin and Helen (Siek) Schultt. A graduate of Pemberville High School, she later retired after 20 years from Owens -Illinois as an administrative Secretary. Ginnie's memberships included O. I. Golden Emblem Club and the Red Hat Society. She truly enjoyed baking, gardening, playing cards, and "painting the town red and purple" with all of her beloved Red Hat Society Sisters. She also faithfully attended RiverPoint Ministries United Methodist Church where she always was ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. In return for her obedience to God, He blessed her with an abundant life filled with love.

Surviving are her son, Scott (Karen) Boecker; grandchildren, Chad (Tina) Boecker, and Lisa (Chris) Snyder; great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Chad, Jr. and Khamrin. She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Glenn A. Boecker.
