Mrs. Etta Godfrey Burnham, 56, died yesterday afternoon at the Hillside home after a short illness. She was admitted to the home this week. Mrs. Burnham was a resident of this city for about 30 years, and was the wife of Cyrus Burnham. She formerly resided at 97 Green street. Mrs. Burnham was born at Groton and was born May 28, 1884. She is survived by her husband and two daughters by a previous marriage, Mrs. Alice Yauilla and Margaret Powers.

The funeral of Mrs. Etta Godfrey Burnham, wife of Cyrus Burnham of 97 Green street, who died Tuesday, was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Byles Memorial home, 99 Huntington street. The Rev. Frank S. Morehouse, rector of St. James' Episcopal church, conducted the service. Interment was in the city cemetery in Waterford.
