Phil Reagan is the name assumed by Felix John Gronke.

Felix was born 8/22/1903 in Chicago to Barney Gronke and Margrethe Ziemann Gronke. Barney and Margrethe had 3 sons who survived childhood: Anton Adam, Edward Paul and Felix.

Felix married Emma Combs on July 25, 1922 in Cook County, Illinois. Felix and Emma had three children, Edna, Anna and Phyllis.

In about 1930, Felix secretly left Chicago and moved to Los Angeles. He changed his name to Phil Reagan. Several members of his family knew of his second life, including his brother Edward Gronke and Edward's wife Lillian, his half-brother Walter, and his father Barney Gronke.

Phil became an auto body mechanic, later moving into custom auto body work. He married again, to Florence. He joined the Coast Guard during World War II and was posted in California.

After World War II, there is a family story that he worked at Tucker Automotive in Chicago.

Flo was the love of Phil's life. When she died, he died only 15 days later.
