Barrett William D, 84, of Avilla, died October 16, 2011 at the Parkview Noble Hospital. He was born on January 25, 1927 in International Falls, Minn., to William P. and Fayra (McBride) Barrett. On January 11, 1945 he married Myrtle Huff. She died November 20, 2005. He was a longtime farmer and was employed by Levin and Sons in Kendallville for many years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
